Mangaluru: Coast experiencing chilly weather since three days

Mangaluru, Nov 20: Coastal Karnataka has been experiencing unusually chilly weather at night since the last three days. The minimum temperature here has dipped as compared to normal days.

Cool breeze has been sweeping the coastal region after midnight in the coastal region. Because of wind blowing from the sea, the people are experiencing cool weather. Minimum temperature in the city which stood at 21.2 degree Celsius on Tuesday, went down to 19.6 degrees on Wednesday and 19 degrees on Thursday morning.

The state is experiencing dry weather with winter slowly gripping north Karnataka with each passing day. Minimum temperature of 7.8 degree Celsius in the state was recorded at Bidar.

As per prediction valid till Friday morning, coastal region and a few places in southern interior Karnataka may experience light rainfall.
