Udupi, Nov 14: "In today's days the thoughts of Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhiji, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and other great leaders are vanishing. There is a need to introduce their ideas, thoughts to the younger generation widely," said Sathish Jarakiholi, working secretary Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).

Addressing the Congress party workers at Congress Bhavana on Satrurday, November 14 he said, "After I received the responsibility of the party, the president specifically advised me to train the party workers to make them leaders of tomorrow. Our party is now shifting from mass base to cadre base. There will be issues at every level inside the party, but we will ensure to resolve these complications. There is a need to bring back Congress party back to power in Karnataka. Party workers should concentrate on the upcoming panchayat and assembly elections. Training sessions will be conducted all over Karnataka. Sevadala team should be strengthened. Oscar Fernandes, Janardhan Poojary and many leaders of this area have contributed for strengthening the party" he said.

Addressing the party workers Vinay Kumar Sorake, Ex-MLA said, "Jawaharlal Nehru belonged to a wealthy family. Jawaharlal Nehru contributed much for the development of India. The Mangaluru Airport was dream of Srinivas Mallya. Jawaharlal Nehru himself came to Mangaluru airport, but now the airport is given to some company from Gujarat. Coastal region was birth place to many banking institutions all our banks are now merged with loss making banks. BJP has made people to suffer during this pandemic".

The newly elected Brahmavar block Congress president Dinakar Heruru was felicitated on the occasion.
