Haveri, Nov 17: In a shocking development, a man who was fed up by the illicit relationship his mother was having, raped her before killing her. This incident happened at Shiggaon in the district on Sunday, November 15.
A 40-year-old woman living at Vanahalli near Shiggaon reportedly had an illicit relationship with some men. As she was a widow, she was living with her son.
Her 21-year-son thoroughly disapproved of her lack of character and was fed up by her failure to heed his advice. It is said that he raped her before killing his mother. Shiggaon police said that the accused was arrested and he is being interrogated.
It is said that the mother and son had a lot of arguments over the issue. The son is said to have forcibly made his mother consume liquor before rapinkg and murdering her.
