Ballari, Nov 18: Ravi Poojary, who had been arrested by the policemen of the central crime branch here in connection with his criminal activities was handed over to the custody of Mumbai police. Poojary, currently lodged in the Parappana Agrahara central prison here, will be taken to Mumbai in a couple of days.
Mumbai police have registered cases under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crimes Act relating to the murder of builder and MNS leadaer Raju Patil in 2015, some other murders, murder attempts, and cases of posing death treats. The Mumbai police had sought his custody for 14 days. The court, after hearing arguments, permitted to give him to the custody of the Mumbai police for ten days.
