Bengaluru, Nov 19: Engagement ceremony of the elder daughter of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D K Shivakumar, Aishwarya, and S M Krishna's grandson, Amarthya Hegde, who happens to be the elder son of Cafe Coffee Day founder, the late V G Siddhartha Hegde, is being held in the city on Thursday November 19.
The ceremony has been arranged at a private hotel near the airport here. Sources said that in view of the COVID threat, only close relatives of both the families have been invited for the function.
After the untimely demise of Siddhartha, the two families had discussed about the marriage proposal. It is learnt that the two families have decided to perform the marriage during February 2021.
