Kundapur, Nov 20: H Hariprasad Shetty was elected president and Sharath Kumar Shetty Balikere was elected vice-president unopposed of Kundapur taluk Agricultural Produce Cooperative Marketing Society. The elections were held at the society office on November 20.

Dakshina Kannada district Central Cooperative Bank director, S Raju Poojary and Mahesh Hegde Molahalli congratulated the newly elected president and vice-president. Director, K Sudhaker Shetty spoke on behalf of the directors.

Association directors S Raju Poojary, Mohan Das Shetty, K Bhujanga Shetty, Vandse Ravi Ganiga, K Mohan Poojary, Ananda Billava, K Sudhaker Shetty, Prabhaker Shetty Jadkal, S Jayarama Shetty Belve, Chandrashekar Shetty and Dinapal Shetty were present.

Kundapur sub-division Cooperative Society official, Arun Kumar S V announced the official results of the elections. Association chief executive, H Shobha welcomed the gathering. Journalist Subrahmanya Padukone compered the programme.
