Bengaluru: CM launches Government School Adoption Programme

Bengaluru, Nov 24: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa launched a government school adoption programme jointly organized by the State Public Instruction Department and Samagra Shikshana Karnataka in the city on Tuesday.

The chief minister handed over letters of adoption to the institutions and companies which came forward to adopt government schools for their development.

Yediyurappa also released a book on the Comprehensive Educational Reforms.



Deputy chief minister Govind M Karjol, Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar, Social Welfare Minister B Sriramulu, Surendra Heggade of Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala and Education Reforms Advisor M R Doreswamy and Congress MLA Rizwan Arshad were among the participants.
