Mangaluru: Matsyagandha train to chug from December 17 onward

Mangaluru, Dec 11: Mangaluru - Mumbai Matsyagandha train, which was very popular with the people here because of its timings, and which had been stopped due to corona concerns, will begin to run from December 17 onward. The railway board has given its assent for its operations.

As the railway board has given its nod to begin Mangaluru - Lokamanya Tilak Express train, the southern railway has decided to run the train for 15 days in the form of Utsav train.

Train No 2620 Mangaluru Central - LTT train and train No 2619 LTT - Mangaluru Central train will run from December 17 to 31. Both the trains will undertake 15 trips each, the southern railwaiy said. The train no 2620 leaves central station here at 2.25 pm and reaches LTT at 6.35 am the next day. Train 2619 will leave LTT at 3.20 pm and reach Mangaluru central at 7.30 am. The train will have stops at Suratkal, Mulky, Udupi, Kundapur, Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murudeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road, Ankola, Karwar, Margao, Kudal, Ratnagiri, Mangaon, Panvel and Thane.
