Mysuru: Three from family perish together in accident

Mysuru, Dec 12: In a macabre accident which occurred on Thursday night on Mysuru - Bengaluru road, three persons from a single family lost their lives.

Ramesh along with family was moving in his motorbike when a car that was moving from Mysuru towards Srirangapatna jumped over the road divider and smashed into his motor bike. Ramesh (41), resident of T K Layout in the city, his wife, Usha (34), and daughter, Monishia (5), died on the spot. Ramesh's son, Sidharth (3), who suffered serious injuries, is being treated in hospital. Sidharth's life was saved as he fell on plants grown by the roadside.

Ramesh was working as a cashier in a city -based bar. On Thursday, the family had visited Siddalingapura to meet his in-laws living there and on their way back, the accident occured.
