Karkala: Youth dies in bike-car collision

Karkala, Dec 14: In an accident which happened between a motorbike and a car near Yennehole, Karkala, on Sunday, December 13, the bike rider lost his life. The deceased has been identified as Manjunath Shetty (32) from Halady.

Shetty was returning home on Sunday evening when the bike tried to overtake a tipper near Jayaram Bhat auditorium. On this occasion, the motorbike collided with the car which was coming from the opposite direction.

A case about the accident was registered in Ajekar police station. The deceased, it is learnt, was working for a hotel in Karkala.
