Mangaluru: Labourer suffers burn injuries when cleaning KMF tank

Mangaluru, Dec 16: A worker suffered burn injuries when cleaning the tank Dakshina Kannada Milk Producers Cooperative Society (KMF) on Tuesday December 16. The injuries were caused after hot water fell on his body.

The injured labourer has been identified as Sathish (27). He was cleaning the tank by adding caustic soda to water when accidentally hot water fell on his body. He suffered 50 percent injuries. He stands admitted into a private hospital in the city for treatment. The doctors have confirmed that he is out of danger.

A case relating to the incident was registered at Kankanady town police station.
