Bantwal, Dec 16: “It is possible to drive away problems such as coronavirus and see prosperity among people by devotion to the Goddess,” said Ananda Guruji of Zee Kannada Maharishi Vaani fame. He gave religious discourse after offering poornahuti to Chandikayaga in Mantradevathe Koragajja temple at Kaithodi quarters on December 15. He said the Koragajja quickly responds to the prayers of devotees.

Kateel temple Vedamoorthi Kamaladevi Asranna said that Chandikayaga is auspicious to all the devotees. The Chandikayaga was held in the guidance of Vedamurthy Subramanya Paradkar Gundyadka and Radhakrishna Bhat Pedamale.

Child artist Karthik Karkala who drew attention by singing a devotional song to Koragajja, Tilak Kulal Moodbidri who drew a picture on a leaf and convenor Chandappa Poojary were felicitated by Guruji. He also suggested solutions for the health issues of the devotees.

Temple trustee, Lokesh, were present. Jagadish Koyla welcomed the gathering. Pratheesh Gaurish compered the programme and rendered the vote of thanks.

Attractive procession with traditional temple music was held in the beginning. Rai government primary health centre staff conducted medical tests of devotees as a precaution
