Kundapur, Dec 16: Election was held on December 15 for the executive committee of primary school teachers' association of the taluk zone.
In total, 13 people contested the general positions. Dinakar Shetty of Government Higher Primary School Anagalli, Ganesh Kumar Shetty of Government Lower Primary School Hosamata, Rama Mogaveera, Government Lower Primary School Kondalli, Shashidhar Shetty, Government Higher Primary School Jaddinagadde, Srinatha G Poojary, Government Lower Primary School Kalligudde and Ravindra Nayak, Government Higher Primary School Heskathur were elected.
Six people were in contention for the women reservation posts. Suchitra, Anegudde Srin Vinayaka Government Higher Primary School, Kumbhashi, Vanaja S, headteacher of Government Higher Primary School Kullanje and Rekha K L, Government Higher Primary School Paduvalthur were elected.
