Bantwal: Man from Mysore Stabbed - Condition Critical

Bantwal, Jul 5: A person from Mysore was stabbed near bypass here on Sunday July 4.

The man has been identified as Manjunath (42), a resident of Krishnamurthypuram, Mysore. It is learnt that he was stabbed by the co-passenger of the car he was travelling in. The pesons who stabbed have made an escape driving the car.

Locals who spotted the injured admitted him to the District Wenlock Hospital, Mangalore. The condition of the injured is said to be serious and has undergone operation.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that along with Manjunath, his sister-in-law too was present in the car. Further investigations will only reveal the exact details as to whether it was a family feud or any other cause. Bantwal town station house officer Vivekananda has registered a case and taken up investigations.
