Julia Roberts in Search of Epic Like Scripts

London, Jul 18 (IANS): Hollywood actress Julia Roberts says she will only accept films that are meaty enough and have an "epic" like script.

Discussing her latest movie "Eat, Pray, Love", Roberts said: "I knew this project would be a huge undertaking, but I just feel that for me to leave home now that I'm a mother and go to work on something it really has to be epic. And this is epic!"

Julia says she has honed her movie selection skills over the years, and instinctively knows whether it is something she wants to work on or not after just one glance at the script.

"It's just a feeling I have the first time I read something. I just like it or I don't. I turn the last page and I know whether I want to do it or not."

The 42-year-old actress was immediately drawn to "Eat, Pray, Love" because of the lead character's courage and liberating behaviour.

"It's based on a beautiful book, a great multilayered story of a woman of a certain age going through problems a lot of people can relate to. What she does is difficult, though ultimately liberating, and I think we all wish that one day we would feel a certain way about ourselves and really do something about it," she added.
