Kasargod, Jul 21: It is learnt that Bayikatte Aziz, arrested recently by the policemen of Manjeshwar, has give more details of the gruesome murder of Abdul Jabbar, a youth Congress activist, a few months ago. Aziz is required by the policemen in several criminal cases.

It may be recalled that Jabbar, who was travelling in a Tata Indica car, was intercepted in Ukkinadka in the district by a five-member gang, which hacked him to death. The policemen have already arrested five persons including Neelagiri Moidu in connection with this murder.

Resenting the slow pace of investigations, Achchu, father of Jabbar, had approached the state High Court, requesting to hand over the case to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The High Court had passed orders, upholding his request. In the meantime, prime accused, Neelagiri Moidu, had revealed in a press conference convened by him, that Sudhakar Master, CPM Kumble unit secretary, had planned the murder.

Aziz reportedly told the policemen that he had provided a car to the accused under instructions from Sudhakar Master. He has confirmed the earlier allegation that the car used by the murderers was stolen from Kozhikode.  He further said that five persons from Kerla-Karnataka border, led by a native of Puttur, had executed the murder plan. He also is said to have revealed that he had paid a bribe of two lac rupees in connection with illegal liquor case, to the policemen.

Aziz has been remanded to judicial custody now, as the case of Jabbar’s murder, which shook the district, is under CBI investigation.

Another  politics by a CPM cadre. Marxist is infamous for its crime in politics, especially in Kerala. They brutally kill people of other political parties. God alone knows when this will end.
