Mangalore: Illegal Establishments Razed - MCC Continues Demolition Drive

Mangalore, Jul 22: The demolition of illegal establishments by the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) officials continued on Thursday July 22.

Few buildings in Balmatta and Karangalpady area were cleared off. Extended area near the pub- Froth and some petty shops were demolished. The officials carried out the demolition works as per the orders of deputy commissioner V Ponnuraj. The owners of unauthorized buildings were informed about the same two days prior.

The officials began the demotion works at Balmatta on Wednesday July 21. The demolition works were carried out to facilitate development projects.
