Kasargod: Two Arrested - Deer Antlers Worth Rs 6 Lac Seized

Kasargod, Jul 23: Hosadurga police here arrested two persons and seized deer antlers worth Rs 6 lac.

The arrested have been identified as Ali (45), a hotelier from Uduma and Ibrahim (30), a resident of Uduma here. Police on information that Ali had recently sold deer meat, laid trap as the customers when they
got the whiff of sale of antlers by the duo.

Acting as per instructions from Ali, police in the guise of customers under the leadership of circle inspector Ashraf reached a deserted area near Ranjita theatre here. Ali was trapped and held by the police when he accepted Rs 50,000 as advance for the antlers.

On interrogation, Ali revealed to the police of Ibrahim's involvement and whereabouts on which the latter was arrested.

    You stop your poisonous comments. Whether they are hindus or muslims, they are involved in illegal activities. Police have done the good job. You cry when your brothers are arrested for anti naational and illegal activities and you call it as anti hindu stance by the govt.
