Bantwal, Jul 23: In a joint operation, assistant superintendent of police Amit Singh and Vittal police seized nine lorries illegally transporting sand in the night on Wednesday July 21.
The lorries were illegally transporting sand to Kerala. The seized lorries have been parked at the government bus stand in Vittal.
The mining department, regional transport department and district administration have been informed about the illegal transportation of sand and seizing of lorries thereby.
