Mangalore: Konkani Plays ‘Eklo Anyeklo’, ‘Karmadeen’ at Kalangann on Aug 1

Mangalore, Jul 24:
‘Mandd Sobhann’, a city-based organization engaged in promoting Konkani culture and folklore world-wide, will be staging two dramas—‘Eklo Anyeklo’ and ‘Karmadeen’—by Amogha ® Udupi, as part of its 104th monthly theater at Louiza and Francis Fernandes Cascia stage, Kalaangann, on Sunday August 1 at 6.30 pm.
 
Artistes Suresh Nayak, Kuyilady, and Shashi Bhushan Kini will perform in ‘Eklo Anyeklo’ while Rajgopal Shet, Ganesh Nayak, and Poornima Suresh will act in ‘Karmadeen’.
 
Musicians Santhosh Udupi and Ustad Rafiq Khan will be the music directors of Konkani play ‘Eklo Anyeklo’ and ‘Karmadeen’, respectively.
 
Kasargod Chinna has translated both the plays and will also direct them.
