Udupi: 12 Injured as West End Caterers' Truck Meets With Accident on NH 17

Udupi, Jul 24: A tempo truck belonging to West End Caterers met with an accident at Muloor on National Highway (NH) 17 while returning to Surathkal from Udyavar church on Saturday July 24. 

Chethan and Hillary, two of the people in the vehicle, were taken to hospital in a serious condition by the 108 emergency service ambulance.

 





 

Ivan, Sachin, Karthik, Nithesh, Sandeep, Shashi Kumar, Ashwin, Derik, Ashok, Uday, Deepak, and Sushanth were the others who sustained minor injuries. They have been taken to Adarsh Hospital and Hi Tech Hospital in the city.

It is suspected that carelessness of the driver caused this accident and a case has been registered at Kaup police station.
