Mangalore: Bike Robbery – Four Arrested

Mangalore, Aug 1: The Kadri police have arrested four persons with regard to the bike robbery case and have seized three bikes from them.

 

The arrested have been identified as Uday Kumar (29) of Panjimogaru, Nishal Poojary (22) of Porkodi, Akshath (22) of Moodbidri and Prashant (25) of Puttur.

 

Honda Splendour, Honda Fashion and Honda Activa are the three vehicles which seized by the police. When the cops at Sharbatkatte, near KPT asked for license with Uday Kumar and Akshat who were in Honda Splendour, they falied to produce it and tried to escape. The police immediately caught them and on interrogation, their robbery came to light.

 

On further questioning the police also got to know that even Nishal and Prashant are involved in the act. The culprits had changed the number plate of the bike and were using it freely.

                                         

Kadri police sub-inspector Raghav Padil and his team carried out the interrogation. The culprits have been produced before the court on Saturday July 31 and have been subjected to a judicial custody of 15 days.
