Udupi, Aug 12:
A sand sculpture depicting the menace of malaria, chikungunya, and dengue fever caused by mosquito bite was displayed at Malpe seashore recently, by the artists of city-based Manipal Sand Art and Artists Forum.

Srinath Manipal, Venky Palimar, and Ravi Hirebettu created the sand sculpture with an intention to educate the public about monsoon-related illnesses caused by mosquitoes.

The sculpture was sponsored by city-based Mandavi Promoter and Developer.
