Mangalore: Karnataka State Committee of CBEU to Convene Conference in City

Mangalore, Aug 17: Canara Bank Employee’s Union (CBEU) – Karnataka State Committee will convene its seventh conference at Milagres Complex Hall, here from Saturday August 21 to Sunday August 22.

Sub-committees were formed to carry out the tasks efficiently. Comrade Walter Lasrado as Reception Committee chairman, K Gururaj Rao as vice chairman, Jairaj K as secretary, K Satish Kini as assistant secretary and P R Shenoy as treasurer were elected.

A meeting of CBEU was convened here on June 24, seeking the formation of Reception committee, wherein members participated in large numbers.

Comrade N munikrishnappa, chairman of State Committee presided.

P R Karanth, joint secretary of AIBEA and Walter Lasrado, vice-president of KPBEF, with their rich experience guided the formation of the Reception Committee.

Ajay Manjrekar – state secretary of CBEU, All India Office-bearers of Union from Karnataka, office-bearers of State Committee from South Canara, Udupi districts and M Ramachandra, assistant secretary of State Committee from state office, Bangalore participated in the meeting.
