Mumbai: Drugs case accused tries to end life in custody

Mumbai, Jun 3: While in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai, a drugs case accused allegedly tried to commit suicide, an official said on Wednesday June 3.

The accused, identified as Ejaz Psycho, reportedly went to a washroom and consumed a toilet cleaner, the NCB official said. The incident happened on Tuesday.

He was rushed to the state-run J J Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. His condition is reported to be stable, the official said.
