Mangalore: City Records Highest Rain in State

Mangalore, Aug 24: On Monday August 23, the city received seven cms of rain, the highest in the state. Mulky, Karkala, Moodbidri, Udupi and several other places on the state’s coast too received good rains.

The rainfall was tapered on the northern stretches of the coast beyond Udupi, with Kundapur, Bhatkal and other places getting only one cm of rain during this period. Sullia, Dharmasthala, Subrahmanya and Beltangady received some rain in the afternoon.
