Mangaluru: Police intensify vehicle checking at Thokottu

Mangaluru, Jun 8: After deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra K V urged the public to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines, Ullal police on Tuesday June 8, intensified vehicle checking at Thokottu.

Sub-inspector Revanna Siddappa along with other staff are checking the vehicles to avoid unnecessary movement of the public to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

It is gathered that the police have seized nearly six vehicles.

People were travelling on those vehicles without valid reasons. As there are many medical institutions in the region, most of the public were found moving towards them.
