Brahmavar: Contemptuous post about Hindu gods - Accused held

Brahmavar, Jun 9: Ibrahim Razik from Surathkal Chokkabettu stands arrested by the police here. The arrest was made on the basis of alleged posts made by him in his Instagram account which hurt religious sentiments of Hindus.

Reportedly, Razik had posted the pictures of Hindu gods in the social media after editing them in an obscene and objectionable way. He also posted derogatory messages about Hindu gods and Hindu organizations, it is said.

The accused had sent a message to the Instagram account of Tilak Kunder from Baikady Bhadragiri. He also had sent voice messages using filthy words against Kunder's mother and elder sister. Brahmavar police who registered a case, arrested the accused.

    None shoudl defame any one or God. We should be human and respect each other and each other's religion. Insulting another person or another religion shows that person has no self respect and dont respect his own religion. Any one doing so should be treated as per law.
