Udupi: Convicted in murder case, Rajeshwari to undergo quarantine

Udupi, Jun 10: Rajeshwari Shetty, wife of entrepreneur Bhaskar Shetty, who was convicted by the district court here in the murder case of her husband, was taken to Parappana Agrahara prison accompanied by the armed police on Tuesday June 8.

She was tested for Covid through the RAT test. After she tested negative, she was taken to Bengaluru. After reaching Bengaluru at about 10 pm that day, the policemen handed her over to the prison authorities. She will be kept in a separate cell meant for undergoing quarantine period for 14 days before being shifted to the cells meant for sentenced people, police sources stated.

Two other convicts in the case, Niranjan Bhat and Navneet Shetty, are already in the same prison.
