Bengaluru, Jun 12: In the wake of the new academic year beginning from July 1, the public education department has released guidelines for the 2021-22 academic year. Preparations for the new academic year will start from June 15. The education department has instructed on entry to school, admission process and yearly plan of schools.

Due to Covid, the guidelines say that for students from 5th to 10th grade offline and online classes have to be conducted. In addition, more than 22,000 contents are uploaded on Deeksha App related to lessons from grade 1 to 10. In this value education books are also available which can be downloaded and studied.

In addition, teachers can share a small video of lesson teaching and share it with the parents. Gradewise Whatsapp groups of parents have to be created and they have to be contacted periodically and necessary guidance should be given to them. The time schedule of the Doordarshan Radio lesson will be released soon according to the guidelines published by the education department.
