Kundapur, Sep 25: In an accident that occurred on Friday September 24 at Moodlakatte near here, a student of Sharada College, Basrur, was killed.
The deceased has been identified as Satish, a final year B Com student of the said college. When he was moving on the motor bike with his friend, Mayur, he lost control over the two-wheeler. The motor bike then banged into a milestone on the roadside. Satish, whose head was smashed against the stone, died instantly.
Mayur, who suffered serious injuries, was shifted to a private hospital in the town. The Bajaj Pulsor motor bike Satish was riding at the time, was broken into two pieces due to the impact of the accident. The local policemen have registered a case.
