Mangaluru, Aug 17: “SDPI activists have acted like Talibanis at Kabaka. It has caused friction. BJP Mangaluru Vidhan sabha constituency severely condemns it,” said the Mysore Electricals Private Limited president Santhosh Rai Boliar. He was speaking in a news conference held at a private hotel here.

“They have shown maladministration after getting four seats in the gram panchayat. We have already written about the incident to the minister in charge, home minister and the district administration. The NIA has arrested the people among them who are alleged to have connection with ISIS at Chembugudde and Mastikatte. As there are cases of people supporting terrorist activities in the district we have urged to open a NIA office in Mangaluru. NIA investigations have revealed that there is a conspiracy to recruit young men to ISIS in Ullal. The Ullal MLA too should exert pressure to open the NIA office,” he said.

Mangaluru block BJP president Chandrahas Pandith House, vice president Yashwanth Ameen, block chief secretary Hemanth Shetty Deralakatte and taluk panchayat former member Navin Padalpady were present.
