Mangalore, Sep 26: A place meant for relaxation and entertainment turned into a virtual cemetry when a man died at Kadri Park here on Sunday September 26.
Neither the identity of the man nor the cause of his death is unknown, though it is suspected that he may have committed suicide by consuming poison, as there were traces of foam near his mouth.
The man had been still alive when visitors to the park found him under a tree on Sunday morning. However, by the time they called for an ambulance he collapsed. His body was then taken to Wenlock hospital for postmortem.
Kadri police are investigating the case.
