Apex Court Dismisses Plea Seeking Kalmadi's Removal

New Delhi, Sep 27 (IANS) The Supreme Court Monday dismissed a petition seeking the removal of Suresh Kalmadi as chairman of the Commonwealth Games organising committee.

The petitioner had demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged irregularities in the multi-million rupee deals that were struck for the Games preparations.
