Udupi, Sep 28: The publicity motorcade that was embarked upon as part of 400th celebration of Dasara which began from Mysore on Sunday September 26 arrived in town on Monday September 27. The motorcade will cover the length and breadth of the state.

The district Information and broadcasting staff and the general public welcomed the publicity motorcade when it arrived at Jodukatte here. The publicity motorcade accompanied the drum beats by Shanker Das and group passed through Court Road, Diana Circle, K M Marg from Jodukatte and concluded at Service Bus Stand, here.

The musicians of Chetana Kala Balaga who accompanied Dasara publicity motorcade from Mysore staged a musical concert that conveyed the splendour of Dasara celebrations. 

Information and Broadcasting first grade assistants B Shivakumar and Poornima, journalist Jayaprakash Kini, artiste Ganesh Kumar Gangolli and Mysore Information and Broadcasting staff Theertalingappa among others were present.
