Mangalore, Oct 1: Subrahmanya received heavy rains coupled with lightning on Thursday September 30 afternoon. Beltangady, Dharmastala, Sullia and Bellare experienced normal rains in the evening. There was some rain in the city and Suratkal region on Thursday morning.

The meteorological department has predicted sporadic rainfall at a few places across Karnataka coast during the next two days.
