Udupi: Photographers’ Association Holds Annual Sports Meet

Udupi, Oct 4: The annual sports meet of Udupi zonal South Kanara Photographers’ Association (SKPA) was held at MGM College playgrounds here on Sunday October 3.

Dasappa Puthran, proprietor, Photo Palace, inaugurated the sports meet.

He said that photographers are stressed-out due to their daily commitments. “Taking part in sports and outdoor activities will work as a stress-buster for them to improve their well-being”, added Dasappa.

SKPA Udupi zonal honorary president Raghav Padmashali presided. SKPA central committee vice-president Vasudev Rao, Udupi zonal office-bearers Shiva K Amin and Janardhan Suvarna, president Sridar Shettigar, and secretary Dhananjay Poojary were present.

Sundar Poojary welcomed the gathering while Prasad Jattanna proposed the vote of thanks. Raghavendra compered the programme.

The photographers from eight zones participated in various sports including cricket tourney and tug-of-war contest.
