Mangalore: Three Major Catholic Organizations Meet in City

Mangalore, Oct 5: Rachana (Catholic Chamber of Commerce, Mangalore) had a joint meeting with Kanara Enterprise Ltd Global, Dubai and Dimension (Catholic Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai) at the Bishop’s House here, recently.

The main objective of the meeting was to foster ties with each other and to help the prospective entrepreneurs in seeking new ventures. The meet was headed by Ivan Fernandes, president of KEL Global, Dubai

The Bishop of Mangalore in his message expressed his happiness and assured his support to the new ventures. Freddy Mendonca, president of Dimension, Mumbai presented a report on the activities of their
organization. Marjorie Texeira, former President of Rachana, gave a glimpse of the ‘Past, present and future of Rachana’.

Later on deliberations were carried out and the members agreed to meet within the next six months.

John Noronha, president of Rachana welcomed the gathering and Ivan D’Souza, vice-president of Rachana, proposed the vote of thanks.

    Well Done catholic organizations. If you see in the past history of Mangalorean catholics there was no organisation to share their business knowledge/experience and guidance to put up some daring enterprises. There were many catholics put their money which they have earned abroad and lost in the business because there was no proper planning/assistance. Let there be a regular follow-up and sharing of their positive as well as negative experiences in business arena. Keep going with true spirit of building strong business community for the welfare of our Mangalorean society. GOOD LUCK.
