Mysuru, Sep 28: Two persons assaulted a police constable on duty for advising them against urinating in the open. The two escaped after beating him up and injuring him.

Head constable attached to Nazarbad police station, Muralidhar, was near the skating park in Siddhartha Extension on Sunday September 26 evening. He saw that two people were about to pass urine by the road side. Muralidhar asked them not to do so, and they went away.

Sometime later, the duo returned and saw that Muralidhar was still there. They attacked the head constable brutally. He was rescued by the general public who admitted him into hospital. The two strangers in the meantime escaped.
