Mangaluru, Sep 30: The water pumping works which is in progress at Surathkal Kana Janata Colony in Mangaluru taluk is causing massive inconvenience to commuters. The torrential rains have added to the problems as the roads are filled with mud and potholes.

Additionally, while digging for repair of the pump, the pipe bursted and the nozzel broke because of which water gushed on the roads. This has made it nearly impossible to drive any vehicle on that road.

Despite such dire need, the concerned officials have not paid any attention to the issue.
