Kasargod, Oct 22: The Badiyadka policemen, who raided a room in Gunaje mosque used by terror suspect, Ibrahim Moulavi, who was said to be working as the south Indian commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba, recovered three Vodafone sims, a nokia mobile set, and two fake identity cards. A collection of newspaper reports on terrorist activities was also found in the room.

With this, the policemen hope to unveil the mystery covering the activities of Ibrahim, a native of Wayanad, who had hidden in Gunaje mosque in the capacity of Mukri, for hoodwinking the policemen. The policemen said that Ibrahim was adept at creating artificial records to give a touch of genuineness to his activities, and that he had stolen the identity card of a person named Hasainar to present himself as an innocent citizen. Reportedly, Hasainar had found his identity card missing during the time he had kept it along with other belongings outside the mosque, while offering prayers, and had thereafter, registered a police complaint.

The policemen also have found that Ibrahim had travelled to Ajmer in Rajasthan during the first week of August this year. It is suspected that the said journey was undertaken to meet another terror suspect, Ummer Farooq, who was arrested by the Anti Terrorist Cell on October 15 night from Ajmer. It is suspected that Ibrahim made use of innocent, gullible youth for his activities by making use of his position in the said mosque.
