Mangalore: Malnad Association Holds Programme for Polio-affected from Gadag

Mangalore, Oct 22: The Malnad Youth Association conducted a programme for polio-affected children hailing from Gadag and on a education tour to the city. The programme was held in KACES hostel here on Thursday October 21.

On the occasion, the association youth donated books, fruits and also provided mid-day meal. Avinand, president of the association gave an opportunity for students to exhibit their talent. He also spoke about the annual day programme of Malnad association to be held on January 9 2011 at TMA Pai Hall.

The association has been involved in various socially beneficial programmes like blood donation camp, providing n basic needs for poor and free scholarship for poor students among others.

The members of the association are students from various parts of Malnad studying in the city.
