Mangaluru, Oct 30: The sacrament of confirmation was conferred during the Mass on October 29, at St Joseph the Worker Church, Vamanjoor.
The sacrament was instituted by Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, the bishop of Mangaluru to 82 budding youth of the parish.
The bishop enlightened the minds of the candidates with his knowledge and values. Fr James D'Souza, the parish priest, Fr Santhosh D'Souza, the assistant parish priest and Fr Praveen Pinto, Fr Salvadore D’Cunha, the guest priests were present for the Holy Mass.
After the holy celebration cold drink and sweets were distributed to the candidates.
