Udupi, Nov 1: Umesha Madivala from Manchikere, who was injured after a car hit the motorbike he was riding on Friday evening, breathed his last at KMC Hospital Manipal on Sunday October 31.
Umesh was proceeding towards Manipal on Friday evening in his motorbike when a car which came from the wrong side, hit his bike.
Umesh suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was taken to hospital where he was treated.
A Kerala registration car that came from the wrong side had hit Umesh's motorbike. It is said that the driver of the car, who was heavily drunk, was over speeding. After the accident, the car driver tried to flee but the locals reportedly caught hold of him.
