Bengaluru, Nov 1: Two persons who used a key which the family had kept in the window after locking door, had taken away gold and silver valuables worth Rs 6.5 lac. The police of K V Agrahara station have since arrested the thieves and recovered the stolen items.
The arrested thieves happen to be Praveen (23) from K V Agrahara, and Soorya (19). 150 grams of gold ornaments and 148 grams of silver valuables totally worth Rs 6.5 lac have been recovered from them.
The younger son of the complainant had locked the door of the house at around 12.30 pm On October 6. He had kept the key at a predetermined spot in the window. When he returned at 2 pm, he saw that his house had been burgled and ornaments and cash had gone missing.
K V Agrahara police who launched an operation, based on reliable information, arrested the thieves on October 27 and recovered the ornaments.
