Mangaluru: Christmas Sauhardha Koota held

Mangaluru, Dec 15: Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R), Guardian Angels Church Angelore unit and Kankanady Yuvaka Vrinda (R) Kankanady jointly organized a Christmas Sauhardha Koota at Sarvamangalae Sabhangana of Shree Brahma Baidarkala Garodi Kshethra, Kankanady.

Dr Ishtar Bhat N, professor of St Aloysius College Mangaluru, Dr Ismail, retired principal of Badriya College Mangaluru, and Irene Rebello, a poetess and social worker were the chief guests of the day.

Fr William Menezes, parish priest of Guardian Angel's Church Angelore presided over the function.

Felix Moras, president of Catholic Sabha Angelore unit welcomed the gathering.

Sashidhar Ambat, president of Kankanady Yuvaka Vrinda spoke about the purpose of the gathering.

Kankanady Yuvaka Vrinda was honoured for their social work and the achievement and selfless services to the society for the past 63 years.

Maria D’Sa, secretary of Catholic Sabha Angelore unit proposed the vote of thanks.

Lolina D'Souza was the host of the day.

The gathering ended with a cultural programme.
