Tumkur: Pejavar Senior Seer Conferred Honorary Doctorate

Tumkur, Dec 5: Pejavar senior seer Sri Vishweshwateertha Swamiji was conferred with honorary doctorate by Tumkur University for his contribution towards education and social service here on Saturday December 4.

Governor HR Bhardwaj presented the honorary doctorate at the fourth convocation ceremony of the varsity here.

 Harikatha artiste Lakshman Das, Defence Research and Development Organization director General Dr V K Saraswat, Supreme Court judge justice Dalveer Bhandari, Dr Niloufer Adil Kazmi and Jindal Aluminium Company head Dr Seetaram Jindal  were the others who received the honour.

Higher education minister Dr V S Acharya was present.
