Mangalore: Beary Musical Evening to Entertain Citizens on Dec 8

Mangalore, Dec 5: Under the auspices of Karnataka Beary Literature Academy, ‘Beary Musical Evening,’ will be held at the Town Hall on Wednesday December 8. Multi-lingual poets' meet, comedy show and musical extravaganza will also be held on the occasion.

Famous limerick writer Prof Bhuvaneshwari Hegde will be inaugurating the programme. Karnataka Beary Literature Academy president M B Abdul Rehman will preside. Mangalore south MLA N Yogish Bhat, Mangalore MLA U T Khader and Noor Mohammed among others will be the chief guests.

The multi-lingual poets' meet will be presided over by Karnataka Beary Literature Academy Award winner litterateur U A Khasim Ullal.

Ali Kunhi Pare and Ahmed Iqbal Kannur will read poem in Beary language. Mahesh R Naik and Devika Nagesh in Kannada, N P Shetty Mulki and Raghu Idkidu in Tulu, Venkatesh Nayak and Alwyn Daanthi, Chamera Dinesh and Karavattira Shashi Subrahani will read out poem in Kodava language. 

Comedy programme by Karnataka Beary Literature Academy member Rahim Ucchil and musical extravaganza by Beary singer Basheer Ahmed Kinya and team will be presented, stated Chandrahas Rai B, registrar, Karnataka Beary Literature Academy in a press release.
