Belangady, Dec 15: “Jesus Christ has shown light to the world. We need to follow his edicts in our lives without any compromise,” advised Beltangady Bishop, Lawrence Mukkuzhy. He was speaking after blessing and inaugurating the newly built meditation centre and central building of Moria Meditation Centre in Nelyady on Tuesday December 14.

He also wished that this meditation centre will be a guiding lamp for the people towards leading them from darkness to light.

Director of the centre, Fr Thomas Varakil, extended a hearty welcome to the Bishop. Fr James Ettikulam and vicar general of the diocese, Jose Valiaparambil, conducted religious rites.

Fr Kuriyakose Vettuvazhy, Fr Bobi, Fr Satyan Thomas, Fr Mathew Joel, Fr Sijo, Fr Verghese, Fr Verghese Padinjarekkara, P P Verghese, and several others dignitaries were present.

Ronald D’Cruz Kollam delivered a discourse on the occasion. Bro Jayan Joseph conducted Holy Mass and other procedures. Fr Thomas Varakil welcomed. K P Thomas proposed vote of thanks.
