Udupi, Dec 18: Taluk Samajotsava Samiti president, Y Shashidhar K Shetty, informed at a press conference convened here on Friday December 17, that Hanuman Yajna and Hindu Samajotsava will be held at Royal Garden, Kalsanka in the town on Sunday December 19. The programme, being organized under the aegis of Hanumad Shakti Jagarana Samiti, will commence at 9.30 am, he stated.
A huge procession will be led from Jodukatte to the venue of the Samsjotsava at 9.30 am. Yajna and Samajotsava will follow. Community feast will be served at the venue. Thousands of people are expected to participate in these programmes, he said.
“Samhita Homa and chanting of Hanuman Chalisa have been successfully organized at 150 places spread over Udupi and Brahmavar revenue sub-divisions, in preparation for Hanuman Yajna. We have drawn immense response wherever this programme was held, he added.
Office bearers of the Samiti, Andar Deviprasad Shetty, T Shambhu Shetty, Raghavendra Kini and Gopal Shettigar were present at the press conference.
